Hello creator!

Thanks for making something for me and a disclaimer up ahead, everything except the DNWs is a kind suggestion. Do as you please, really, go nuts. I don't care how weird it gets, I welcome it. And I'm always happier if you make something you're comfortable with rather than bind yourself to the things I've listed.

I'm not much of a long fic writer so perhaps my thoughts/prompts tend not to run along plots as much as moods and moments, but I am just as happy to receive a long-spanning narrative driven fic/comic as I am happy to receive a single scene or some collection of moments like a 5+1.

For AU I prefer minor or major canon divergences but I have only DNWed the mundane modern ones, because those make every canon less interesting for me. This also includes "no power" AUs for The Boys, except of course Kimiko does lose them temporarily at some point and if this is something you want to include, be my guest (I am strongly in love with her being able to throw Frenchie across the room though, entirely for sex pervert reasons).

I am okay with unpleasant topics like sexism, homophobia and racism in fics, especially where it makes sense in canon, and I don't mind asshole POVs (I nominated assholes for a reason), but I am somewhat uncomfortable with male protagonists that I'm supposed to care about being outright misogynistic. This also includes gay men going on about how repulsed they are by women's bodies.

If you stalk my ao3: rest assured, I also enjoy a lot of things very different from what I write myself ;)

If you're a visual artist, I hope some of the things I say are useful, I also have an art likes section if needed.

Smut:
I like any level of explicit, from the crude to the flowery. I have a general purpose list of smut things that interest me here.

Art: For styles I like medieval and early Renaissance art and then lets fast forward past all that realism to the 20th century. I like the 1910s and 1920s a lot, silent films, expressionist dance, the grotesque, ero-guro (Suehiro Maruo). I'm generally fond of things being abstract, distorted, heightened and symbolic rather than realistic.

For smut I care a lot more about props (including clothing!) and poses than genitalia and I am partial to thick guys with a bit of meat and hair on them in positions of distress but obviously that doesn't make sense for all prompts.

Comic artists I like are the aforementioned Suehiro Maruo, Junji Ito, Osamu Tezuka, Shintaro Kago, Hayao Miyazaki, Daisuke Igarashi - and that's only mangaka because those are the ones I remember, but I do also like graphic novels.

Art Dislikes: I don't like race bending, significant weight changes in either direction and if you have an m/m ship of two regular looking dudes and one is made to look more feminine, smaller, prettier than the other it.

  Do Not Write

  • focus on formalized aspects of bdsm (formal negotiations, safewords, traffic light system, people identifying as dom/sub)°
  • terminal illness, cancer, dementia, amnesia, Alzheimer's*
  • male on female dubcon/noncon*
  • mundane modern AU (coffee shop, college, rock band etc.)
  • issuefic, current politics
  • mpreg, pregnancy*, kidfic
  • alpha/beta/omega (and similar worldbuilding with assigned roles/biodeterminism)

* mentions are ok, real life happens, just don't make me think or feel about it too much
° I am really not fond of: safe word usage, constant check-ins, traffic light, using words like sub space, anything that draws attention to the formal nature of the act. If it makes sense in canon a character can be aware of BDSM etiquette and they may discuss things with their partner, that itself can be erotic and fun, it's just not something I enjoy in a smut scene where I like to suspend my disbelief.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Canon Promo in case we didn't match on this: this is a beautifully shot modern western with a soundtrack that brings tears to my eyes (Song for Bob...) and it's about the manic pixie outlaw hero Jesse James who has many issues, one of them being paranoia (is it paranoia if people actually want you dead?). He's being orbited by the young Robert Ford who admires him, seems to be unsure if he wants to be him or fuck him, and will, the title already gives it away, kill him in the end. Before it comes to that they engage in what Roger Ebert described as a "curiously erotic dance of death."

  • you don't have to fix it, I am not looking for a happy end, I like how fucked up it is
  • more of that "erotic dance of death"
  • Bob doesn't kill him (yet), they are hunted by the law, go into hiding
  • more of the very tense domestic situation with Bob playing nanny (don't mind Jesse's wífe and  kids having major roles)
  • Jesse kills someone in front of Bob and it's pathetic and horrible
  • tests of loyalty, mind games, knifeplay
  • bedroll sharing, camping, bathing, killing game, tending to wounds, polishing boots
  • all the masculinity and perhaps its subversion, we love a subversion
  • poetic waxing about nature
  • isolation, cabin fever
  • melancholia, the end of the age of heroes as personified by Jesse
  • rage, self-pity, adoration, repulsion, disappointment
  • fail sex, uncomfortable sex, dubious consent
  • falsely gentle threatening touches
  • surprising tenderness, surprising brutality
  • half clothed sex, hand jobs, frottage and intercrural
  • tears and kisses
  • body worship
  • Jesse willingly surrendering (one way or another)
  • increasingly unhinged behaviour on both sides

The Boys

Canon Promo in case we didn't match on this: Well, I never wanted to watch this show, because "Superheroes but real and edgy" is how it was sold to me, and that was such a turnoff. I fell in love with it for the likeable characters and great media parodies (seeing Superman, Aquaman and so on exploited by the media, on talk shows, in perfume ads - it's just great). You can feel that the writers behind it aren't dudebros, there are some great storylines about how not to be a toxic guy. One example being Frenchie and Kimiko. They are members of The Boys, a ragtag group of people who are working to stop superheroes (who are more or less bad guys). She got super strength, he adores her, they connect because of their similar traumas, she could kick his ass and he loves it.

Some thoughts on Frenchie/Kimiko:

  • Holidays in Europe (for them and me, the reader)
  • Honeymoon in Marseille (metaphorical, please don't have them marry)
  • Marseille has a big crime issue... Frenchie as damsel in distress (just don't make him incompetent), Kimiko has to save Frenchie from a bad situation he gets into because of his past, from a simple robbery, from a supe
  • Kimiko gets to kick ass, they both do their parts supporting each other and the result is awesome
  • Lots of first time for Kimiko (see my long list of kinks)
  • Kimiko getting to enjoy Frenchie's masochism/submission (I like this to be more fluffy than grimdark, but I do not want him to be "fixed" or "cured" and become "normal")
  • Hurt/Comfort with Frenchie receiving: Frenchie having a bad drug trip or overdosing, Frenchie being triggered by something back in France, Frenchie being faced with his past (his crimes, the consequences of his murders, Nina), Frenchie being roughed up, Frenchie being dub/nonconned
  • free the man from Butcher's cruel hands
  • Sitcoms, romantic comedies, musicals, cooking, clothes shopping
  • Sign language!
  • May I see his belly in a crop top please? Thanks

Some thoughts on Frenchie:

  • Character study!
  • Glimpses of his past (working for Nina, for Butcher, or also his childhood and father, raves in Algiers, arriving in the US)
  • Frenchie/Cherie/Jay (or some variation of love, friendship, sex between them)
  • Frenchie/Cherie
  • Frenchie/Nina
  • Frenchie & M.M.
  • Boys just wanna have fun
  • That face he makes when he sees the donut burger or the propaganda film, but as a whole fic about his experience in the US
  • For the Kimiko ship I am pretty much into fluff and romance and happy endings but for him solo you can get as dark as you want
  • Why is he dressed like Travis Bickle?
  • Tell me about those raves

Trust FX

Canon Promo in case we didn't match on this: This is a fictionalized take on the real abduction of a Getty grandson by Calabrian mafia in 1972. Directed partly by Danny Boyle. It's also a story about capitalism, about the rise of the mafia to a world power in drug trade, about broken families, the patriarchy, the 70s and about Italy looking rather lovely. Also it's about Luca Marinelli (which you might know as Nicky from The Old Guard) as an unhinged mafioso wearing very tight pants and delivering the performance of his life.

  • Character study!
  • he's my slut (affectionate), he's my 35 year old man child, he has anger issues, he's pretty smart but not as smart as he thinks he is, his fashion sense is impeccable
  • His past, especially 20-30 ( I don't need to feel exceptionally sorry for him, he can be a monster even if his father beat him)
  • Everything 70s/late 60s, Rome, the night life, coke, more coke, also coke, cruising, casual sex, did I mention coke?
  • His relationship to his car or guns, I'm sure he has names for his girls
  • He's my LBD and I ship him with everyone (except incest or Leonardo)
  • In particular: Primo/Angelo, Primo/Dante, Primo/Chace, Primo/Regina, Primo/OCs
  • some stuff that is less explored in canon, filling the gaps, missing scenes
  • his future, the port, being the king of his castle
  • Primo & Francesco or even Primo/Francesco if you make it dark - it's dark, okay?
  • Italian history (ww2, fascism, the American landing, the young moving North for labour, capitalism, revolts, communists, and so on)
  • Does he remember the war, the Americans landing, any memories of chocolate, tanks and mines?
  • Rome vs Calabria: alienation and transgression, generational conflicts, discrimation of South Italians, Primo's masculinity versus Salvatore versus Paul
  • doing crime stuff, questionable ethics, being a bad person but in a charming way
  • arrogance, arrogance tested and shattered (drag him, hurt him)
  • Angelo, what's "suck my cock in English?"
  • 5+1 five people Primo killed in a fit of anger and one he didn't

They Call Me Jeeg

Canon Promo in case we didn't match on this: Another edgy superheroes film? Yes, but this one is set in Rome so... watch it if you want to plan your holidays. This one also stars Luca Marinelli as an unhinged and very queer coded villain (David Bowie outfit, glam performance, Buffalo Bill tattoos, workplace full of dog collars, greasy hair, he has it all). What I like about this film: the villain. What I don't like: the hero. This recommendations comes with a big fat noncon warning: a traumatized woman is raped by the hero. For the hero's character development. It is honestly fucked up and he's irredeemable.

  • Character study!
  • His past, how he met his goons/partners
  • Queerness
  • Leashes, collars, dogs
  • David Bowie outfit, Buffalo Bill tattoos - tell me more
  • Body horror, transformations, gore, terrible things happening to him and being done by him
  • Ships: Fabio/Nunzia, Fabio/Enzo, Fabio/Biondo
  • Please don't bring Alessia into this, she's been through enough and he was always mostly polite to her
  • Unless you want to give Alessia an AU where she kicks Enzo's ass with Fabio that would be fun
  • he lives AU
  • being Nunzia's lapdog AU
  • that hotel room scene but noncon
  • him having a hysteric meltdown, love that for men
